Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a demand planner or supply chain (preferably FMCG or retail)


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Maintains the stock coverage level per SKU and warehouse while maximizing the profitability of the inventory flow.
  2. Provides for stock management on an ongoing basis, studies consumption trends based on the sales 
  3. figures, and recommends optimal procurement cycle (quantities, frequencies, etc.)
  4. Sets orders and receipt schedules per brand per vendor
  5. Follows up with vendors on timely delivery
  6. Communicates and follows up on return orders
  7. Coordinates with buyers to fulfill promotional deals
  8. Manages the forecasting
  9. Overlooks the team forecast accuracy
  10. Works proactively with functional teams such as operations, category, and marketing to develop a consensus demand plan
  11. Collects products and vendors data needed by the system and the APP, and creates item codes and various modifications in timely manner
  12. Creates purchase and return orders on system and communicates to vendors
  13. Liaises with the warehouse controller regarding schedules, quantities, stock-related and delivery topics
  14. Proposes and fulfills plans to reduce existing over-stock 
  15. Finds alternative sources when vendors are out of stock 
  16. Manages the short shelf-life products and inventory
  17. Supports the technical department to come up with joint objectives
  18. Contributes to automating all the demand planning and related tasks in coordination with support functions
  19. Manages the stock-takes post results, recount, challenges, treatment, transfers, adjustments and compensations
  20. Performs the treatment of the quarantined and/or near-expiry projects
  21. Coordinate Zones of products per warehouse
  22. Coordinates with accounting on the payables for imports and local vendors
  23. Handles the supply chain of freight and clearance when importing
  24. Prepares costing sheets for imports vendors, and fills out all necessary data, including computation and validation of landed factor 
  25. Sorts out discrepancies and claims with imports vendor
  26. Perform other duties as assigned 


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or supply chain or equivalent
