Role and Responsibilities 

  1. Identifies and establishes long-term partnerships with direct distributors and wholesalers  
  2. Negotiates and sets yearly contracts with vendors based on the best commercial terms  
  3. Responsible of vending the promotional spaces of the platform to the distributors against set marketing fees  
  4. Closes special, seasonal and volume-based deals 
  5. Researches and analyzes market info to base strategies and negotiations on 
  6. Stays on the look-out for new local suppliers and/or global ones based on strategy 
  7. Assists in setting the yearly budgets/targets of sales and profit per category and area 
  8. Contributes in setting business plans and implementing them to achieve targets  
  9. Creates visibility schemes ensuring customers satisfaction and meeting profitability objectives 
  10. Controls the shelf-life, damages and products life cycle 
  11. Monitors price and competition 
  12. Develops the products catalogue of the application in terms of categorization, visuals, description and pricing 
  13. Focuses on attaining promotional items and displaying them  
  14. Sets and implements the seasonal calendar  
  15. Administers the price structure including setting the RSPs and respecting the margins per category 
  16. Generates weekly, monthly and quarterly customized reports related to sales and margins 
  17. Analyzes data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends per area 
  18. Monitors and enhances products, categories, brands and vendors’ performance 
  19. Performs daily commercial tasks  
  20. Conducts customers’ satisfaction surveys to act upon 
  21. Associates with supply chain for the regular demand planning, promotional deals and remaining logistics matters 
  22. Coordinates on the local vendors’ payments schedules 
  23. Assists the finance department in building/updating financial models related to the operation 
  24. Supports the technical department to come up with joint objectives


Education Requirements 

  1. BA in Business Administration or Supply Chain or relevant  
  2. Masters or equivalent is a plus
